Post-Human was my third-year project, inspired by a film concept exploring a future where humanity and technology are deeply integrated, with people opting for prosthetic limbs. I examined how this would impact fashion, especially in a society split by class and resources. I designed and constructed two costumes—one for a utopian upper class and one for a dystopian workforce—using digital illustrations to bring each faction’s aesthetic to life. The utopian costume features a custom digital print to reflect luxury, while the dystopian look uses earthy, distressed fabrics and makeshift prosthetics from repurposed materials to highlight their harsh, labour-driven lives.
